Terms of Service
TSLAIQ is currently in a closed trial.
1. Acceptance of Terms
TSLAIQ is operated by Vermel Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company (“TSLAIQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the TSLAIQ app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use TSLAIQ. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept it.
2. What TSLAIQ Is
TSLAIQ provides account holders with an app and web account that record supported battery and powertrain data from a vehicle over its diagnostic connection and present that data as readings and history. TSLAIQ is read-only by design: it reads from the car and does not send commands to or change the vehicle. Certificate tools remain in development.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use most of TSLAIQ. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, or any breach of these terms.
4. Your Equipment and Safe Use
TSLAIQ works with a third-party OBD adapter that you supply and install. You are responsible for using the adapter and the app safely and lawfully, including not interacting with the app in a way that distracts you while driving. TSLAIQ reads the vehicle’s data bus; it does not modify the vehicle, but you remain responsible for your own use of the hardware.
5. Scope of Readings
TSLAIQ readings and any future certificates describe data captured from a vehicle at a point in time. They can support a decision about the vehicle. Warranty coverage, future performance, and a complete professional inspection fall outside their scope. Battery and vehicle behavior can change at any time. Do not use a TSLAIQ reading as the sole basis for buying, selling, or servicing a vehicle.
6. Product Status and Existing Purchases
TSLAIQ is currently in a closed trial.
Payments already accepted remain governed by the price, paid access period, renewal terms, cancellation rights, refund promises, and other terms shown when the purchase was made. Later changes do not alter an amount or access period already paid for. We will give notice before a price or renewal change takes effect for recurring access.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Certificates
Certificate issuing and public verification remain in development. Any future certificate will report a vehicle’s battery data at a point in time and remain subject to the scope described above.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse TSLAIQ: no attempting to access other users’ data, no interfering with or overloading the service, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, and no using TSLAIQ to break any law. We may suspend access to protect the service or other users.
10. Intellectual Property
TSLAIQ, including the app, website, and certificates, is owned by Vermel Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your vehicle data remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate the service for you. Tesla and its model names are trademarks of Tesla, Inc., used only to identify the vehicles TSLAIQ works with.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
TSLAIQ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vermel Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on TSLAIQ readings or certificates, including vehicle purchase, sale, service, or financial decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. No Affiliation with Tesla
TSLAIQ is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, except where applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
