Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TSLAIQ is operated by Vermel Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company (“TSLAIQ”, “we”, “us”). TSLAIQ records supported battery and powertrain data from a vehicle over its diagnostic connection and lets the account holder read it in the app and web account. The app is read-only by design: it does not send commands to or change the car. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: the email address you sign in with, and, if you enable it, multi-factor authentication. If you sign in with a third-party provider (for example Google), we receive your email address from that provider.
• Vehicle data you sync: your vehicle identification number (VIN), available BMS capacity and cell group voltage records, temperatures, fault codes, and your drive and charge records. TSLAIQ also stores battery health and trend values calculated from supported inputs. Recorded inputs and calculated results use separate labels.
• Optional location data: only if you choose to enable it, so drives and charges can be shown on a map. Location is never required to use TSLAIQ, is kept separate and access-gated, and can be turned off at any time.
• Payment information: if you make a payment to TSLAIQ, it is handled by our third-party payment provider. Your card details are entered with that provider, not with us; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Technical and diagnostic data: basic device and app information and error reports, which we use to keep the app stable and secure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the service: to compute and show your battery health and history, to sync your data between the app and your web account, to administer your access, to provide support, to keep the product secure, and to improve how it works. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Certificates and Sharing

Certificate issuing and public verification remain in development. Current account data is not published through a TSLAIQ certificate or public verification link.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the service: with infrastructure providers that host our database and application, with the payment provider if it processes a payment, with error- and performance-monitoring tools, and with email providers that send you account messages. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account and vehicle data while your account is active so your history stays available to you. You can request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting).

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to your vehicle data is enforced at the database level so it is reachable only by you and the people you share it with. Location data is held to a stricter, opt-in standard. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we collect.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, including under the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA (California). We honor these rights for all users. To exercise them, email privacy@tslaiq.com.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage; we do not use advertising trackers.

10. Children

TSLAIQ is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International Users

TSLAIQ is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there. By using the service, you understand that your data will be handled in the United States, with the protections described in this policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Your continued use of TSLAIQ after a change means you accept the updated policy.
